I finally made the trek down to San Jose this weekend and snapped a few images of the local talent throwing down on the 333 meter Hellyer Park Velodrome. I haven’t been to a track event since I went with Specialized to shoot the US Track Nationals in Boulder… It’s such a fast-paced, exciting race where everything is always within view; perfect for a day out with the camera. I can’t wait to go out and go for a spin myself.
So after Elle wrapped her season with Vanderkitten, she set off to conquer the cyclecross world with the CalGiant – Specialized. With a new scene, new rig, new kit, and new crew, we had to get together to snap a few images that she could use for promo cards to hand out while out on the circuit. We took her Crux up into the hills above San Francisco and shredded some singletrack. It was horribly cold and foggy but it all came together and we got some good stuff… Here’s a few of our favorites.
